Evi turns 6! Happy Birthday!

On Saturday we had her family party and she had a blast. Today was her friends party and a great time was had by all. This year we celebrated at her gymnastics place. They had an hour with the coach and then 45 min. for pizza, cake, and presents. Evi got some really great gifts and had a great weekend. Thanks to everyone who helped to make her birthday special. It's so hard to believe that Evi is six years old. She is kindergarten this year and has learned so much. She is beginning to read and can tie her shoes, she can count by tens and count to 100. She amazes us everyday with funny things she says and does. At 6 she is still very into all things gross and science related but she is also into pink, sparkles, make-up and glitter. It's been really fun seeing her become a little girly. Her favorite show is American Idol and she loves Scooby Doo. We still have her enrolled in gymnastics and she is really getting good. Evi is a very passionate little girl and cares very much about her little brothers. She is earning an allowance now by helping out around the house. It's great to see her contributing to the family in this way and doing it with such pride. Of course we feel so blessed that God choose us to be Evi's mom and dad. We can't imagine our lives without her.

Grandma's Birthday and Robert's adoption day.

We went to eat on saturday to celebrate my moms 63rd birthday as well as Robert's third adoption day. The kids looked forward to going to Benihana's all week long. They love to watch the cook right at the table. I think it may even be better then television.
Robert and the birthday girl.

The man of the hour. Robert hardly spoke the whole meal because he just kept eating and eating and eating.
