Where We Are At In The Process

Now that we have a referral the fun begins. The first step is to get our POA (Power of Attorney) down to Guatemala and get it translated. Then we can enter Family Court (FC). At the same time we can have DNA done. Once we are out of FC and DNA is done (about 4 weeks) we receive pre-approval and enter the final Guatemalan court called PGN. PGN is going really slow right now (4-8 weeks). We are hoping things pick up soon.
